Join our lively online music and sensory class especially for babies cuddled 'close enough to kiss' in a sling! Gentle movement, music and playful interaction your little one will love!
Good to Know
Older siblings usually love this class (my 4 year old joins in with a teddy tucked into her jumper) and it's easy to enjoy the songs with a baby or older toddler out of the sling too, if you want.
This class facilitates lovely communication and eye contact between parent and baby - the sling is the perfect place to feel close and connected. So you'll mostly be keeping an eye on the screen to see what we're doing, and baby will be focusing on you!
There's some great advice on how to use your sling safely here: https://www.carryingmatters.co.uk/sling-safety-how-to-use-a-sling-safely/ Please make sure that your baby is in an upright position, facing towards you, and that you follow the 'TICKS' guidelines for safe babywearing: T is for “Tight” Slings & carriers should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you, as this will be most comfortable for you both. ... I is for “In View at All Times” ... C is for “Close Enough to Kiss” ... K is for “Keep Chin Off the Chest” ... S is for “Supported Back”
We only use gentle, natural movement like bouncing, walking and swaying in our classes - please keep your movements within the bounds of the usual way you'd move at home with your baby.
Feel free to take a break to get baby out of the sling, feed, change a nappy or whatever baby needs.
